Job Description
  • Liaising with the Central Recruitment Team to ensure the prompt action of all recruitment and staff onboarding activities, assisting with ad hoc tasks as required to support the recruitment process.
  • Overseeing and supporting the administration of new staff including creating new Personnel files and inputting data onto the internal HR database, including qualifications, and training completed and required.
  • Overseeing and supporting all HR administration activities following the onboarding process and throughout the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to job changes, promotions, annual salary review.
  • To support the Business Manager – Finance, HR and Administration in overseeing the appraisal process, and liaise with the Central Training Team to research training opportunities based on training need requests.
  • Co-ordination of data and reports and completion of all actions for the monthly payroll submissions to the Central Payroll team. Ensuring the correct checks and authorisations Support the Finance assistant with the review of utility suppliers, such as telephone, gas and electricity contracts, for best value plus monitoring of the accounts and addressing any problems/issues that arise.
  • Support the Finance assistant with responsibility for ensuring all company vehicles have appropriate and current Road Fund Tax, Insurance and MOT certificates have been made and data is submitted on time.
  • Occasional reception duties, including greeting visitors, booking appointments, taking calls, passing on messages and much more 

Duties will vary, you must expect to diversify and lend a hand wherever is required. 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Highly personable, professional and welcoming manner • Demonstrable experience of working in administrative role ideally to include HR and payroll and/or within an educational or care environment. • Computer literacy essential, particularly in Microsoft Office. • Accurate typing and Minute taking. • Organised and good time management. • Ability to manage workload effectively and multi-task. • High level if interpersonal ability with excellent written and verbal communication.
