The Responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
Line managing a team of 4
Business partnering with internal and external stakeholders
Production of monthly management accounts
Posting monthly salary journal as provided by HR
Overseeing the reconciliation for accommodation and fund-raising income
Periodic re-forecasting and yearly budgeting for the Charity
Provide rolling cash flow forecasts
Ad-hoc duties as required
Due to the current situation with COVID-19 this role will initially be working remotely.
Profile
The successful Management Accountant must be part qualified and actively studying ACCA/CIMA with a clear path to becoming a Qualified Accountant. The Management Accountant will need to have experience with line management, full production of management accounts, re-forecasting, a knowledge of SORP accounting and experience working in the charity sector.
Job Offer
On offer for the successful Management Accountant is a salary of up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience as well as a competitive benefit package including an employer pension contribution of 15%.
