Job Description

BIM Manager required for our client, based in West Scotland. As a BIM/CAD Manager, you will oversee the production of project information models which contain 3D visualizations that bring together data, drawings and schedules associated with the design and construction phase of a project. Developing and Managing a small team, cultivating the company capabilities.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Interpret the requirements of the specification and the drawings
  • Leading the development of the construction information within the model environment
  • Ensuring achievement of the design development programme
  • Manage resources effectively
  • Broker technical problem solving capturing the learning and corrective actions for future workload
  • Communication and relationships

Role Scope:

  • The role has been established to focus on the construction and building services engineering aspects of the overall project.
  • The role is key to the successful installation, completion, and hand-over of the project.
  • The role will be executed through the utilization of existing project processes and procedures.
  • The role will form part of a project management and reporting structure.

BIM Manager Position Remuneration

  • £45,000 - £50,000
  • Car/allowance
  • Pension

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Determine the resources required for the task. Technical clarification and interpretation. Coordination of Client representative engagement. Understanding of the associated trades and interface management. Providing information that enables the efficient installation of the works. Production of record documentation and drawings. Problem solving and learning capture. CAD managers and professionals with at least 5 years' experience of managing Building Services projects in the built environment. Working knowledge of Revit 2020 - Modelling Environments.
