Job Description

Job Duties:

Following a recent promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Support Officer within Integrated Services for Learning (Children’s Services). The main purpose of the role is to lead a locality business support team to provide a full range of administrative support to enable Integrated Services for Learning to improve outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their families. The role requires effective monitoring and management of team performance (including training & development).

We are looking for an individual with experience of leading and managing colleagues in an office-based (or similar) environment, with the ability to manage a range of conflicting demands on the team. The successful applicant will have strong administrative skills (including extensive experience of a range of software packages including Microsoft Office) and experience of using case management systems or databases.
Interview date: week commencing 5th October 2020
