Job Description

We are looking for a Trainee Accountant to join our General Accounting Team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role includes responsibility for key month end journals, reconciliations and reports, as well as investigations and continuous process improvement.  The key focus is to ensure accurate financial reporting and a strong financial control environment within Alcura and OTC Finance team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build effective and accurate finance reports in order to deliver results at month-end and to contribute to the business performance. Experience within a similar role is ideal with examples to support this. Ideally you will come with an accountancy background and clear understanding of what is expected on a busy month-end period, ability to prioritize and complete each task effectively without supervision. Have the confidence to work on your own or as part of a team when required.
