Job Description

Working for a main contractor within the Rail & Construction industry, on various Network rail projects based out of there Glasgow office.

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of secured works from award to completion.
• Determining the labor, plant, sub-contract and material resources required to deliver works within the agreed budget.
• Ensuring that the delivery of secured works complies with the company IMS, all client requirements and all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental legislation and standards.
• Ensure the prompt reporting of any Accidents, Incidents, Near Misses or Close Calls
• Responsible for management and coordination of all On Track Plant activities, including involvement in pre-planning, site visits and appointment of competent POS Rep.
• Responsible for managing all Safe Work Pack planning and rail planning
• Check that the actual works required corresponds with the works tendered
• Delegate for Senior Project Manager as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be suitable for the position you must have: Minimum 2 / 3 years' experience working as a Project Manager in the Rail sector. Experience in Building / civil works (railway buildings, station buildings, fitouts, depot refurbs / refits, roof repair / replacements etc.). Good understanding of Network Rail processes. An up-to-date PTS. SMSTS.
