Job Description

Supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager and deputising as the point of contact as required.

Interfacing daily with the wider team and associated stakeholders across the business providing support and guidance.

Processing sales order management including payment plan updates.

Processing complex sales invoices in large volumes for goods/services of varied nature.

Completing intercompany sales trading and reconciliation.

Supporting with complex queries and aid with key stakeholder engagement where necessary.

Educating and supporting the wider Accounts Receivable team and business partners on changes to operations born through legislation, service, customer or technological changes and ensuring any risks are mitigated.

Taking an active role in daily stand-ups and monthly team meetings including briefing the AR Team on any ongoing changes.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/CICM or equivalent experience Extensive experience of working in a Finance function in varied roles. Good data analytical skills and an understanding of how to obtain and manipulate various forms of data into interpretable reports/data sets. Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft packages including creating reports, presentations etc. Firm understanding of accounting including IFRS15, revenue recognition and how this impacts the sales ledger. Understand what documentation is required to process different types of sales e.g. Goods despatch notes, export paperwork etc. Understanding of financing methods and insurance varieties to cover non payment. Good experience of operating multiple accounting ERP's advantageous You will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with a passion for accounting. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise multiple activities and have the ability to work as part of a busy team environment with experience of delivering to strict deadlines. You will have the desire and ability to learn and develop new skills and you must be able to embrace change with a 'can do' attitude is essential. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate a logical approach, be meticulous with attention to detail and have a level of professionalism when interacting with managers and other finance staff.
