Job Introduction
The Surrey Pensions Team currently based at County Hall, administer the pensions for members of not only the Surrey Pension Fund but are also making history by working in partnerships with four of the London Boroughs.
Although we’re part of the public sector, we bring a unique commercial focus to our pensions administration work, ensuring we provide best value for all our local authority partners. Right now, we administer schemes with 250,000 members across the funds. We are developing new member and employer portals, and actively pursuing innovative ways of using technology to provide the best possible service to our scheme members.

These roles are offered on an 18 month, fixed-term contract basis.
You will be responsible for a varied workload providing information to new employees ensuring they are fully aware of their pension rights, liaising with other scheme employers and calculating the range of benefits available to members of the scheme.
We don’t expect you to have any experience in pensions – what’s more important to us is that you enjoy working with figures and have a strong commitment to customer service. You will have excellent IT skills and could be given projects to work on in connection with our computerised pension administration system.
You will enjoy the challenge of working in a busy team, have the ability to work flexibly and be able to prioritise workloads to meet challenging deadlines.

Experience within a customer service environment
IT skills
5 GCSE including maths and English or equivalent
