- Be an active, integrated and cohesive member of the Senior Management Team in order to contribute fully to strategy development and delivery.
- Work with the COO in providing leadership and direction in the development of a broad range of activities in line with the Strategic Plan and the organisation’s vision.
- Ensure that the organisation maximises its financial performance across the broad range of activities including long term financial planning and effective tax planning.
- Coordinate the work and monitor workloads of the Finance Team, designing, maintaining and resourcing an adequate staff structure, undertaking performance & development monitoring against key performance indicators as required.
- Identify appropriate training and development needs for the Finance Team, assisting in their development.
- Manage and lead the finance functions within the organisation, ensuring that they are implemented to a high standard.
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required, consistent with the nature and grade of the post.
