The role is offered on a temp to perm basis for 30 hours per week rising to full time and permanent status.
Key duties
Control of processing of Supplier invoices and Supplier payments and staff expenses
Support preparation of annual budgeting process, and monthly monitoring of department spend reporting to operations
Maintain control of Credit cards, posting and reconciliation to monthly statements
Monthly Supplier ledger and Sales ledger control account reconciliations
Processing of on-line banking and monthly Bank reconciliation
Maintain register of Fixed Asset additions
Quarterly Group VAT reconciliation and returns
Inter-Co reconciliation and balancing
Any other duties as directed by the Director of Finance, to include monthly support with and preparation of accounts to trial balance including preparation of prepayments/ accruals, and depreciation journals for production of management accounts and management reporting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Would ideally suit AAT qualified. You must be fast thinking and a proactive accounts individual, who is able to work under pressure at times. A flexible approach to working and a real team player is essential. A good working knowledge of ‘excel’, to intermediate level.
