We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join Marshall Motor Group on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract and help ensure the efficient running of the department, ensuring that the company accounting policies and procedures are correctly operated. You will be based at our Mercedes Southampton dealership where you will be overseeing 4 dealerships in the area.
What does a typical day involve?
Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of administration processes to achieve company benchmarks
Planning ahead and managing time carefully to ensure all tasks are achieved
Ensuring that action is taken to ensure compliance with Group benchmarks
Striving to achieve a consistently high standard of ledger maintenance in order to ensure that the accurate information is always available from which to make decisions
Ensuring all employment, environmental, Health & Safety, HMRC policies and practices and statutory legislation are strictly adhered to
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideally you will have experience working with Kerridge systems and experience working within the motor trade would be advantageous. Anyone with an Accounts background would also be considered.
