This is a progressive role whereupon ongoing accountancy studies will be encouraged as the role will evolve into that of an Assistant Accountant that will ultimately play a business critical role within the accounting team.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Playing a lead role in running a smooth and controlled accounts payable process in order to ensure service levels are met
Dealing with complex supplier queries and acting as the point of escalation for any issues, so important suppliers are paid in a timely fashion, in line with contractual obligations
Assisting with the month end process and supporting the accounting team with the management accounting process
Helping to manage working capital effectively and assisting with cash flow management
Assisting with process improvements and developments in the accounting system
