Job Description

You will be responsible for documenting our accounts with our sub-custodians, reconcile our in-house positions to identify reclaim opportunities across different markets, file retrospective reclaims and make tax refunds payments.

The IB Tax team - Professional, will be a part of wider IB Tax team in Bournemouth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Proactive operational support to ensure a premier service regarding the following

• Documentation

• Relief at Source

• Retrospective reclaims

• Tax refunds services

• Ensure all work is carried out to meet all departmental and market deadlines
• Able to understand market changes and its impacts on internal processes
• Ensure close collaboration with internal / external stakeholders and manage stakeholders' relationships
• Proactive analysis, response on outstanding queries to all internal / external partners and client representatives
• Maintain Tax records and procedures for internal use to ensure all market and procedural changes are reflected accurately
• Create and maintain comprehensive project and process documentation
• Review operational tax processes to identify areas of improvement
• Able to Identify risks and solution resolution
• Perform UAT for system enhancements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor's/honors degree or equivalent preferred. Basic knowledge international taxation is preferable. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to be a strong team player and showcase excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain accuracy within strict deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Broad technical knowledge of International tax laws and regulations. Ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex issues.
