Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join an international growing business that are looking for a Management Accountant to report into the Group Financial Controller. You take responsibility for producing the management accounts for one particular division of this larger business.

You will work closely with and report to a Group Financial Controller. The role is a real mix of both management and financial accounting; The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Management of one assistant management accountant.
• Producing annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Producing monthly and quarterly reporting packs
• Monthly management accounts
• Analysis of financials, commercial and all project work within the business
• Statutory accounts and annual audit files
• Review the inventory process with the ERP system, making changes and recommendations
• Balance sheet reconciliations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) You will have had previous experience of working within operational accounting and truly understand; WIP accounting, Stock accounting and Cost accounting. Technically strong with a high level of financial and management accounting experience. Fully conversant with UK GAAP and IFRS would be a distinct advantage
