Job Description

Social Workers will be working in this front line services and need previous experience of working within the Assessment setting within Social Care. You will undertake initial assessments and section 47 Child Protection investigations and hold all open cases of ongoing family support and children subject to a child protection plan. Allow for the provision of high quality support and intervention.

Candidates will be managing a diverse and complex caseload within deadlines. Constant contact within all teams of the Children's & Families Social Care and external agencies to address children's and their families needs with best possible outcomes. Communication with line managers identifying professional development and training that would be beneficial personally and to the team as a whole.
