We are delighted to be supporting a top-ranking and highly respected global practice in the recruitment of a qualified Audit Senior for their Bournemouth office. We are looking for an experienced, professional and enthusiastic qualified senior, to join the expanding department and office. Applicants must be either ACA or ACCA qualified and be able to display a commercially minded and organized approach to client work.
Responsibilities:
This challenging role will include exposure to mainly SME clients, working to tight deadlines to provide audit services at client premises in various sectors including retail, manufacturing, professional services, charities and schools.
The role will require the provision of an outstanding service in a professional and efficient manner tailored to give clients the benefit of exceptional advice and maximum added value.
There is also the opportunity to work on one-off projects, particularly within the corporate finance department.
Although the role will be based within the Audit team there will also be opportunities to work within various teams within the office which will offer a broad and varied range of experience to all fee-earning staff in the Audit and Accounts departments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified candidate who is educated to degree level with experience within professional practice. Ideally this will have been broad based with exposure to a good range of clients both in size and sector in general practice or audit. Experience of the agricultural sector is desirable and familiarity with electronic auditing packages (e.g. Caseware) and accounts preparation with Accounts Production is an advantage. Experience should also include providing detailed journal assistance to clients where necessary. Candidates should be continuously seeking to assess, improve and achieve objectives with a passion for delivering quality and ensuring that client needs are met, benefiting both the client and the firm.
