Job Description
You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and have experience of working within the housing sector. The main purpose of this role will be to provide financial support, advice, and financial reports to the Director and Heads of Operations to support business analysis and decision making.
Your responsibilities will include:
Produce monthly management accounts
Produce monthly budget statements
Provide variance analysis and financial forecasts
Produce reports for Heads of Service and Directors based on financial analysis
Maintain general accounts ledger by posting transactions, reconciling balances, preparing account specifications, and solving discrepancies and mismatches
Set and track monthly/quarterly performance of KPI’s
Drive headcount planning and related cost tracking in the P&L
Prepare compliance reporting for VAT, CIS & PAYE
Assist the new business development team in the creation of new business budgets and forecasts.
Prepare weekly cash flow updates and assist in the preparation of budgetary cash flow
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
What you will need to be great for this role: An up to date understanding of rent and service charge legislation. Experience of producing finance reports for boards and committees. The ability to work collaboratively with operations managers to agree and monitor KPI’s. Experience of producing and presenting management reports. Experience of analyzing income and expenditure to produce reports with consistent and accurate recommendations.
