The role and reponsibilities of the Assistant Financial Controller position will include:
Delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting across a number of entities.
Ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of month end close actuals whilst advising stakeholders and senior management of potential issues.
Ensure that actuals/ forecasts are properly reconciled and differences understood.
Work closely with the business partners to provide assurance over the reported financials and insight into key trends and variances.
Preparation of balance sheet including review and sign off of balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner.
Accounting and reporting of receivables, bad debt provisioning and monthly reconciliations.
Develop and deliver clear, concise balance sheet and P&L reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Support with internal and external auditors and tax team.
Key project support, testing and embedding new processes into the month end procedures as required.
Development of controls framework and enhancing Management Information.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or QBE and overseas equivalent Have experience within financial analysis and reporting role Have strong excel and systems skills Prior experience of using an ERP will be beneficial Be available at short notice
