Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced accountant, either QBE or part/professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with a broad understanding of full circle financial control. In the early days of the role, that might mean rolling up your sleeves and squaring up the day-to-day, as well as assisting with all aspects of management and statutory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, VAT, and project costing. But you’ll probably want to quickly begin building a small team so that you can focus on more strategic commercial responsibilities. You’ll be working closely with an experienced senior management team, but you’ll also benefit from a lot of autonomy in shaping this function, so you’ll need to possess great commercial acumen and strong communication skills. The business is already operating with a modern accounting system (Sage Line 200), but the opportunity to design, implement and improve processes will exist from day one.
