Account Senior Required! My client is a close-knit Accountancy Practice based in the Blackburn area seeking an enthusiastic and driven Accounts Senior to join their team and work alongside the Partner. The successful Accountant will work with a vast portfolio of SME clients in this hands on role offering fully rounded business advice and support.

This full time position for an Accounts Senior is an exciting opportunity for a confident Accounts Senior to take on more responsibilities and grow into a senior role. This role is ideally suited to an Accounts Semi-Senior looking to progress or an Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant seeking a new environment for continued growth

Accounts Senior Position Overview

Preparation of year-end accounts for SME client base
Preparation of Month End Accounts
Drafting of tax computations
Preparation of VAT returns
Liaising with HMRC
Managing a portfolio of clients
Offering accounting and business advice
Other ad hoc work as required
Reporting to Partner

Accounts Senior Position Requirements

Minimum 4 - 5 years-experience within Accountancy Practice
Previous Experience with SME client base beneficial
Previous experience with Tax Calc beneficial
Previous Experience with Sage beneficial
Excellent Communication skills
AAT / ACCA / ACA qualification beneficial but not essential

Accounts Senior Position Remuneration

Salary: £23,000 - £33,000 Dependent on Experience & Qualification

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

8.30 am - 5 pm

Early Friday finish incentive

Holiday: 20 + Bank (potentially negotiable)

Study Support to be discussed
