Job Description

As the Reception Administrator for a fast growing investment firm in West End of London, you will be the main point of contact for the company, responsible for a number of tasks:

  • Meeting and greeting guests as the face of the organisation
  • Answering and transferring telephone calls
  • Ensuring that no one enters the firm without identification and having signed in
  • Office diary management to include booking meeting rooms for staff, scheduling annual leave in Outlook and adding recurring and one off events to the office calendar and ad hoc diary management for Partners and senior staff
  • Event organising e.g. Corporate Challenge, Monthly Drinks, Friday Lunches
  • Managing office expenses, invoices and petty cash
  • Daily interaction with security and facilities staff members
  • Maintaining fully stocked stationary, kitchen and shower room supplies, along with inventory management
  • Receiving deliveries and distributing incoming post or couriered items to staff
  • Making and logging courier bookings, taxi bookings and any other related travel

The Successful Applicant

The successful Reception Administrator for fast growing investment firm in West End of London you will ideally have prior reception and administration exposure along with:

  • Excellent IT skills - using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Minimum 2.1 degree within a UK or equivalent university degree and A-Level/GCSE (or equivalent) grades
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Very strong administrative skills
  • Aspiring career prospects, and ideally an interest to progress in the financial services sector
