Job Description

You will be a pivotal point of contact connecting the external and internal sales teams, and liaising across the Finance, Technical and Operations departments to support the Sales Director with the sales strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding the key markets, seeking opportunities to grow the existing business portfolio via the internal and external sales teams
  • Making decisions on pricing enquiries, maintaining and reviewing price lists
  • Analysing sales contracts and making necessary adjustments to improve return
  • Holding responsibility for the contract lifecycle including tendering, transition to operational, reviewing and renewal with input from the Sales Director
  • Leading and coaching the internal sales team by ensuring collaboration between key departments ensuring customer's needs and expectations are met
  • Providing training and guidance to the internal sales team with regards to customer service and support
  • Mitigating negative impact to margins by taking note of aged stock, aged debt etc and acting accordingly to control these variables
  • Assisting with customer order processing and complaint and information requests in a timely manner
  • Monitoring, preparing and reporting of data and analysis including KPIs which may affect sales volumes and lead times
  • Represent the internal sales team at various meetings
