Ensuring the test site is set up as required at the beginning of each shift
Lead the morning briefing and end of day debrief, including capturing issues and learning
Supervise the staff team and carry out line management duties, including staff rotas are covered and break times taken
Provide a quality assurance role, checking the tests are being processed correctly and recorded accurately
Resolve issues where team members cannot, e.g. registration issues, public concerns, etc.
Escalate any issues, including those relating to site maintenance, infection prevention and control, clinical governance and safeguarding, as necessary
Full training will be provided but we are looking for an individual with the following skills and experience;
Prior knowledge or training of infectious disease control
Understanding of the importance of infection prevention and control (IPC) and appropriate and safe use of personal protective equipment (PPE) – training will be provided
Experience of supervision, line management and/or team leadership
Experience of working in a public facing role
Digital skills, i.e. scanning QR codes/ entering data on to a device
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful applicant will be working a rotational shift pattern that will include some evenings and weekends. You will need to have use of a car and hold a full driving license. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a team environment on a project that is vital to the management and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.
