Job Description

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the role is primarily to support implementation, maintenance and ensure the applicability of the Integrated Management System, to assist third party audits and assessments, to produce FAIRs, and to coordinate and assist with internal and external concern and corrective action investigations and reports.

To organise the rejection of goods on sources of supply and to ensure speedy corrective action and replacement.

· To take full responsibility for all quality aspects relating to the submission of FAIRS, ISIR reports to ensure they are correctly completed to meet customer requirements.

· To support handling of customer returns ensuring all returns are quickly dealt with and the causes are rectified.

· To maintain a record of all returns and operate a procedure to progressively eliminate customer returns.

· Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of change.

· Interact with other departs to support product activities as applicable.

· Support and assist with site continuous improvement projects as identified by Quality Manager.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Recognised Quality qualification or equivalent would be beneficial but not essential. • Experience of the requirements for our business (e.g. Aerospace, Automotive etc). • Experience of producing and collating FAIRS and associated documents would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given. • Able to read technical drawings. • Able to communicate with people throughout the business both internally and externally. • Able to work anywhere in the business. • Self-motivating and able to work using own initiative for prolonged periods without supervision.
