Job Description

In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and closing new business opportunities within clearly defined marketplaces
  • Generating own leads through networking, direct mail, email, LinkedIn or any other avenues
  • Meeting with clients over video and, when safe to do so, in person
  • Acting as the first point of contact for existing clients (managing existing relationships)
  • Understanding the needs of target customers in order to plan how to meet requirements effectively
  • Working alongside the Marketing Manager to develop sales + marketing strategy
  • Maintaining an accurate and effective sales pipeline
  • Negotiating pricing with customers
  • Attending seminars, conferences, trade shows and networking events (when safe to do so)

    In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
  • Experience of selling across Engineering, Manufacturing, PPE or Lifting Operations markets
  • Tangible experience of working to strict sales targets
  • Ability to analyse sales figures and write reports
  • Immaculate business presentation/communication skills (written/verbal)
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office/CRM systems)
  • Full UK driving licence

    In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client also offer a commission package worth up to an additional £8,000, a company car/laptop/phone and free parking (when visiting Head Office).
