Job Description

You will be working with a Year 1 class, providing support and encouraging academic progression for the pupils. You will need to be enthusiastic, friendly and patient, both inside the classroom and outside the classroom. You will be joining a highly supportive team of teachers who will ensure you feel welcome from day 1. Teaching Assistants play a vital role in any school due to their focus on providing care and support for the pupils.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner (mainstream teachers welcome) 
• Be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic, personalised lessons which address young people’s needs at their point of learning
• Be able to work to and meet deadlines 
• Form effective working relationships with a range of staff / stakeholders
• Aspire to provide learning opportunities for the full range of our pupil’s needs 
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
