Ensuring the test site is set up as required at the beginning of each shift
Lead the morning briefing and end of day debrief, including capturing issues and learning
Supervise the staff team and carry out line management duties, including staff rotas are covered and break times taken
Provide a quality assurance role, checking the tests are being processed correctly and recorded accurately
Resolve issues where team members cannot, e.g. registration issues, public concerns, etc.
Escalate any issues, including those relating to site maintenance, infection prevention and control, clinical governance and safeguarding, as necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Prior knowledge or training of infectious disease control • Understanding of the importance of infection prevention and control (IPC) and appropriate and safe use of personal protective equipment (PPE) – training will be provided • Experience of supervision, line management and/or team leadership • Experience of working in a public facing role • Digital skills, i.e. scanning QR codes/ entering data on to a device
