Job Description

Your new role will see you grow to become an important part of the company claims team. Your main duties will include liaising with insurance companies and updating information as directed by the business Claims Handlers, setting up new claims on the in-house company system, and investigating these claims, requesting relevant documentation when required. You will manage the department inbox to ensure incoming claims are allocated to the correct handlers, and prepare basic claims reports using Excel.You will also liaise with solicitors to gain updates on active cases, and also be the first point of contact for enquiries over the phone. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
In order to succeed in this role, you will have some office-based experience either in a customer service or administrative setting, and have proficiency when using Excel for daily tasks. This role would also suit a recent graduate looking to further their career in an exciting and fruitful industry. You should hold a minimum of three A-Levels, or be educated to degree level would be desirable. Some experience and knowledge of insurance policy and terminology would be useful but isn't absolutely essential. You will be keen to learn and progress and be committed to high standards of customer service and work. Time management and organisational skills will be key in this role so you should be able to prioritise your workload to keep on top of your daily duties.
