My client is a well-established, specialist residential transition service offering personal development programmes that enable people to fulfil their potential for independence. My client supports both, males, and females 16+ and offer full time respite, day services and outreach.

I am recruiting for a Team Leader to work within a beautiful historical service based in Worcester. The site has excellent resources and facilities for their service users including a horticultural area, music, art and IT suites plus a specialist in-house clinical team who work with the operational teams and ensure a holistic approach to care. 

As a Team Leader you will be supporting the Registered Manager in the smooth running of the home, supervising a team of dedicated Adult Support Workers, and working as a proactive role model within the team. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience working with adults with Learning disabilities • Experience working with Adults whose behaviours may challenge • Hold a Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care • Willing to work towards Level 3 (Essential) • Full uk Driving Licence (Preferred) • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Effective communication skills, verbal and written • Ability to record information accurately • Flexibility and willingness to work a shift system including weekends • Ability to deal with complex and challenging behaviour
