Your new role

You will be working for a manufacturing company as a management accountant/ commercial accountant, reporting into the senior finance team and managing junior members of the team. You will manage standard costs, production variances and have management of stock takes for global divisions of the company. You will provide support for budgets and forecasts, support with commercial analysis for the business, business performance analysis and ad hoc reports following this as required. Making sure company policies and procedures are adhered to, preparing the management accounts for month end and supporting with streamlining and updating systems add to your duties. This role will also allow you to manage a team member and develop your managerial skills, while being a general support and guide for the transactional finance team.

You will be part qualified and studying towards and actively studying or be qualified and looking for a new challenge in your career. Having strong systems knowledge, enjoying improving processes and having strong excel skills is important for this role. You will be commercially minded, enjoying looking into and maintaining business policies and be forward thinking. Strong analytical and month end experience is required for this role.
