Job Description
You will provide administrative and operational support associated to the provision and use of Commercial Vehicles and Materials Handling Equipment throughout Saint-Gobain in the UK.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of Fleet Key Performance Indicators and understand how to potentially positively affect outcomes/results
- Achieve statutory compliance relevant to your specific area of responsibility
- Produce Purchase Order Numbers and assist in the control of incoming costs
- Accurately maintain the Fleet Wave Database and all other relevant electronic records
- Manage enquiries from user departments and seek adequate resolutions where problems exist
- Follow functional procedures accurately and identify improvement opportunities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
What we’re looking for in a Transport Administrator: Great communication skills, both written and verbal. Analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work on own initiative, as well as being a team player. Organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload. Flexible with ability to deal with high volumes. PC literate – MS Office. Good literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to handle confidential information. Transportation or HGV/LCV Knowledge would benefit but not essential.
