Job Description
- Responsible for inputting and checking amendments to annual documentation.
- Responsible for ensuring up to date information is uploaded to the various inhouse systems.
- Responsible for inputting updates of materials on inhouse systems as they arise, and the timely distribution of materials to staff.
- Responsible for checking and updating data using inhouse systems.
- Providing support for the inductions and registration cycles, including organising inductions, updating handbooks and other materials.
- Providing support for attendance monitoring administration as requested.
- Responsible for receipt and collation of assessment materials from colleagues, for tracking assessed work out for marking and chasing to ensure it is processed within expected timescales.
- Transcribing or uploading marks to relevant inhouse systems.
- Where appropriate, to act as secretary to meetings including agenda preparation and circulation, minute taking and monitoring progress of actions.
- Where appropriate, to support the organization of practical assessments and assist in setting up venues.
- To support the collation of timetable requirements in agreed timescales and, liaising with academic staff regarding requirements.
- Where appropriate, to provide support for the allocation of research projects.
- Responsible for setting up on inhouse systems evaluations.
- Any other duties within the scope and general nature of the grade which may be required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Grades A-C in English Language and Mathematics GCSE (or equivalent) or vocational qualifications, plus work experience in a relevant administrative role. • Recent working knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Confident communicator. • Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines. • A forward thinking, pro-active and positive "can do" attitude and flexible approach.
