About the Department
Visual Cultures is a vibrant and research-active department in the School of Culture and Society at Goldsmiths. The department specialises in contemporary art history and theory, curating, and research architecture. We run undergraduate programmes in Art History, Curating, and, jointly with the Art Department, in Fine Art & History of Art. We have a large postgraduate provision and several funded research projects. We are home to Forensic Architecture.
About the role
The Senior Administrator will be responsible for the Department’s administrative processes and will help organise physical and professional staff resources and finances. You will work closely with the Head of Department on all aspects of running our busy academic department, from making sure core student processes work smoothly to helping with strategic planning.
About the candidate
You will be friendly, flexible and have great communication skills. You will have substantial administrative/organisational experience gained within higher education and the ability to smoothly juggle multiple demands. You will lead a team to deliver work to deadlines, and always prioritise excellent student experience.
