The role will have 3 direct reports and will be responsible for developing and managing QMS, as well as being the point of contact for all quality matters on site.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to Quality Director, the Quality Systems Manager will also be focusing Food Safety and be responsible for governance of Quality Systems (QS) and food safety (FS) programmes within a manufacturing site to ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, customer & third-party requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and deliver QMS strategy
Develop and manage audit, documentation and risk assessment plans
Ensuring the QMS meets regulations and requirements for external regulators
Promote a quality culture across the site
Support with relationship with MHRA and partners
Develop Quality and Validation and audit master plan
Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standards through QMS system
Ensure to participate in audits and visits when required
Manage WDA licences and home office licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least 4 years' experience working in a GDP environment - preferably in a multisite function Extensive experience of managing and developing ISO 9001, ISO14001 QMS and EMS systems Managing and leading experience Lead Auditor qualification or similar Any quality management qualifications would be preferable GDP training Experience of working with the MHRA and other external bodies
