Administrator
Temporary - Remote
Job Description

We currently have a fantastic Fixed Term contract opportunity for a proactive and organised Team Administrator to support our hard working and fun Group Legal team on a part time basis (3- 4 days per week).

Despite the current circumstances we are still recruiting for roles. In compliance with UK Government advice relating to COVID-19 this role will be remotely based in line with our current workforce and we will supply you with the tools and technologies to enable you to do so. Similarly all interviews will be conducted by google hangouts or equivalent video conferring technologies.

What you'll be doing

This diverse role will keep you busy and engaged. From booking meetings, organising training to updating the intranet pages you will have plenty of responsibility from day one.

Other key duties will include:

  • Acting as a “super-user” for the team's document management system, including hard and soft copy legal document filing,
  • Managing the team's diary/activities/events, supporting meetings and events by ensuring that arrangements are in place for all resources and materials to be booked and available on the day and that appropriate records are kept.
  • Supporting the Principal Legal Counsel and Head of Group Legal and working closely with the members of Group Legal so the department runs efficiently and cohesively and all administration needs are met.

In addition to BAU activities you'll also provide valuable support to a contract management project that is due to kick off in the new year.

This is the ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic administrator that's also keen to gain further knowledge of the legal sector, so there will be scope to provide administrative support with trademark and IP management and team data protection requirements.

What we're looking for:

You'll be able to demonstrate excellent admin, organisation and planning skills. Beyond this, we're looking for someone who will build genuine working relationships across the team, take ownership and become an indispensable team member.

If you have experience supporting or working as part of a legal team previously that would also be highly advantageous.

What we'll offer you in return

When we're back in the office you'll find it modern, relaxed and friendly (including fresh fruit, subsidised canteen, great facilities for cyclists and lunchtime runners, two free healthy meals per week and a roof terrace to enjoy them on).

  • We have a 35 hour working week and offer flexible working with each team working one day from home (prior to lockdown).
  • There are excellent benefits including 28 days annual leave, private healthcare, and excellent pension scheme (and the usuals... Cycle to Work, season ticket loan scheme etc.) We even have access to a private section of Regent's park which is handy for hot summers and team building events!
