Your new role

• The main part of your role is to manage your own portfolio of clients, contacting customers by either telephone, letter, or email
• Ensure that all clients adhere to agreed payment terms reducing and minimising overdue debt
• You will work as part of a strong team to achieve agreed targets
• Minimise risk by carrying out credit checks
• As an experienced Credit Controller, you will be comfortable in following all legislation and procedures including Data Protection, Consumer Credit Act, and the Financial Conduct Authority
• You will use your excellent communication skills to deliver a high standard of service while working with the client to find the right solution for both the business and the client
• You will manage any current and aged debt.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous experience of working within credit control is essential to be considered for this role Previous experience of working in a business to business industry is desirable but not essential Strong level of communication both written and orally As someone who has previous experience you will be confident on delivering customer service This role will suit someone who enjoys problem solving and building solid working relationships Due to location this role will suit someone who has their own mode of transport.
