Job Description

The events are delivered across England. Before the pandemic, nearly all were face-to-face events. Currently, all events are being delivered remotely. We envisage running a mix when it is a safe to do so. The team consists of a training manager; training development worker; administration manager and an admin assistant (open courses). The events are delivered by a mix of associate trainers, internal staff and guest speakers. The post holder will lead in providing support to the programme of commissioned training, conferences and events, but will also support colleagues across all activities including general administration within the team. All staff are currently working remotely.

Purpose of the role:

  • To provide administrative support to the Training Manager and more generally to the conference, training, workshop and consultancy services.
  • To process and record enquiries, commissions and booking requests ensuring positive customer service.
  • To process all financial transactions.
  • To make appropriate and cost-effective arrangements for travel, accommodation, venues and catering.
