Job Description

This is a fixed term contract for two years.

Duties and responsibilities

As the Programme Administrator, you will be responsible for administering the planning and delivery of operational aspects of the curriculum within Years 1 and 2 of the MBBS/BSc programmes.

Working with a great team of academic and administrative staff, you will provide the administrative support for the development and delivery of all aspects of the early years. In addition, the post holder will support the monitoring of student attendance and student conduct.

Working closely with the Programme Manager, and academic leadership team for Phase 1, you will ensure that students are well supported, providing high quality, timely information and responding to queries in a professional but approachable manner. You will also support integration across the programme, including educational initiatives and the development and review of the curriculum and assessments.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You should be educated to a degree standard or have equivalent significant work experience in a similar or equivalent role. You should have experience of providing strong, responsive customer-focused service. To excel in this post, you will have strong organizational skills, the ability to set and work to deadlines, and to adapt to changing priorities. You will also need excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
