Job Description

Payroll Administrator required. Our client are currently searching for a self-motivated Payroll Administrator to work within the accounts team, the successful candidate would need experience working within an accountancy practice.

The role would involve dealing with circa 120 payroll clients on a monthly basis ranging from Director-only companies through to 60+ employees. Sage accounting software experience is essential and you will manage client payrolls and preparing payroll reports.

You will be working within a small practice with nine employees. The payroll position is a crucial role & they require a professional and diligent candidate with Sage experience.

 

Managing 100+ payroll clients and associated pension administration
Prepare reports using financial data
Balancing the payroll accounts by dealing with discrepancies
Maintaining payroll guidelines by updating policies & procedures

Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:00) - 1 hour lunch
28 Days holiday (Including bank holidays) - 25 days + 8 after 1 year service


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least 2 years' experience within a Payroll role or similar 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice would be ideal however not essential A full UK driving license would be essential Experience with Sage software
