Job Description

This is a position to provide administrative support to the Nursing and Midwifery (NM) and Allied Health Professionals (AHP) at London local office of Health Education England. Your day to day work will include meeting and event booking, diary management, organizing events, data entry, minute taking, updating action notes and other documents. A big part of the role is to engage with external and internal stakeholders.

The role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter to develop their skills and further their career. 

The post holder will be working to support the Nursing and Midwifery (NM) and Allied Health Professionals (AHP) workforce transformation agenda across London and supporting a range of agreed Workforce Transformation Projects.

Supported by the Project officer and wider team, the post holder will contribute to a range of NM and AHP workforce transformation projects, working collaboratively with stakeholders, both internally and externally.

The post holder will be expected to work with other clinical teams and programme leads and subject matter experts across the region.

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 4 with a full-time starting salary of £26,365, with a pay step increase after 3 years’ service.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The post-holder will be flexible, capable and self-motivated, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to deal with rapidly changing priorities. We need a person who is efficient, well-organized, and able to respond positively to a fast moving and dynamic environment, able to manage a significant workload. They will be able to work in multiple projects and deal with various managers and colleagues with confidence requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
