Job Description

This is a very varied and fast paced role for an experienced Front of House Receptionist. You'll be meeting and greeting clients as they visit the Bupa Centre for appointments and treatments and will be pivotal in ensuring they receive a premium customer experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Offer outstanding customer service
  • Ensure compliance with data protection
  • Ensure all test results/correspondence/post etc are filed and distributed accurately and tasked to the doctors
  • Preparation of client files and scanning documents
  • Answering calls, helping with queries, managing mailbox
  • Take ownership of problems and complaints, and ensure these are resolved satisfactorily
  • Data Protection: maintain client confidentiality at all times, and ensure paper client records are locked away at night and PC security guidelines are followed
  • Act as chaperone to clients when required
  • Liaise closely with clinical colleagues to ensure that client reports and correspondence are issued within the required timeframes
  • Ad hoc administrative duties to assist line manager
  • Assist in bookings of mammograms
  • Will need to be flexible to cover other London Centre’s if required
  • One Saturday a month with the option of overtime at time and half or flex day

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
What you’ll bring: PC literate – proficient in MS Outlook / Office packages. Able to work efficiently with the team and independently and at speed on bespoke healthcare system and booking systems. Excellent customer service skills. Exposure or experience working in healthcare is a bonus. Understanding hospital, health or dental patient terminology preferred. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Team player. Well organized. Reliable and flexible. Proactive and able to use initiative. Great attention to detail. Have a right and positive attitude towards workplace. Be able to work under pressure and be adaptable to change is a must. Contribute to team goals. Able to multi task. Adaptable to change.
