Job Description

To act as a central point of contact for medical staffing queries in relation to trainees, revalidation and CEA’s. To deal with internal and external enquiries by telephone and email. Provide basic HR information in line with policies and procedures, signposting enquirers etc. To input data onto HR system. To produce reports from these databases as requested.

To prepare and issue contractual documentation for medical staff including; work schedules, rotas and contracts.

Provide support for the management of junior doctors on recognized training rotations at the trust.

Assist in creating rotas, work schedules and other documentation in line with the 2016 junior doctor contract.

Coordinate and provide support for the induction process for junior doctors.

Liaise with the rota coordinators and departmental managers in respect of resolving rota and leave queries.

Liaise with recruitment and hr teams and directorates to ensure medical leavers and joiners (including honorary clinicians) are recorded accurately and resultant databases are managed accordingly.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Computer literate, including good working knowledge of MS Office and HR database systems such as R66 or ESR. Previous office/clerical experience. Working in very busy environment with tight deadlines. Rota/roster management. Experience of interpreting and advising on complex terms and conditions, policies and procedures. Previous experience of Medical Staffing including managing rotations and revalidation.
