Job Description

To provide administrative support to the Administration Manager, Service Manager and team, ACDS when required and Regional Office staff

Key responsibilities:

  • General Administration
  • Finance
  • Health and Safety

The successful candidate will be working towards a Business Administration Level 3 Professional Standard that is accredited by NCFE. The course runs for 18 months and runs alongside the role. Apprentices are given 20% of their time (agreed flexibility with the employer as to when this time is offered) to work on the course, and development actions known as off the job training.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to model required behaviors. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work within data protection guidelines. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and on own initiative. Ability to work in a thorough and systematic way, paying attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, young people and visitors. Ability to deal with constant interruptions for visitors, staff and young people. Ability to priorities own workload and meet tight deadlines. Successful achievement of results by supporting the administrative team with effective planning and management of resources. Particularly to the use of IT and willingness to undertake training in order to ensure the competency level required for this role.
