Job Description

We provide a range of services including company accounts, bookkeeping, payroll and tax planning and are looking to recruit a full/part time Bookkeeper to join our team of 5 bookkeepers.

The right candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, time management skills, with the ability to work on their own, as well as part of a team. We are looking for applicants that ideally have at least two years’ Xero experience, however bookkeeping knowledge in Sage and QuickBooks will also be considered.

The role will involve exposure to private and sensitive information, always requiring confidentiality and discretion, integrity and professionalism is paramount.

Free parking is available on-site, however our office is a convenient 5 minutes' walk from Sevenoaks train station.

Job Responsibilities:

• Xero bookkeeping with the ability to process data in an efficient and timely manner whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• VAT returns

• CIS returns - experience preferable

• Management reports

• Brightpay payroll

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

• Experience of cross department collaborative working to achieve objectives


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Relevant qualification at Bookkeeping Level (AAT) or proven experience as a Bookkeeper of 2 + years. • Familiar with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft outlook and Excel. This list isn’t exhaustive, and tasks may change to suit the requirements of the business.
