This main purpose of the role is to provide a full and comprehensive support to the Group Financial Controller in the analysis and reporting of financial data. This will be a varied role with duties to include the following:
- To ensure the timely and accurate production of the Company's management accounts and supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate Bill of Quantities to ensure Management Accounts reflect the correct job costings
- To control Fixed Assets and the FA Registers, and maintain Balance Sheet analysis, reconciliations and summaries as required
- To administrate the timely and accurate production of information to the Statutory Revenue departments
- Ensure accurate and up to date maintenance of all benefits in kind and subsequent submissions to HMRC
- Prepare and submit the Company's VAT Returns
- Attend stock take and assist with valuation summaries and reports, including working to resolve queries
- To produce year end fiscal accounts in liaison with the company auditors
- To support other departmental managers through agreement and facilitation of real-time accounts information
- Assist in the improvement of accounting systems and identification of cost savings throughout the business
- To proactively seek to improve all/any aspect of business under the control of this role
- To carry out such duties as reasonably directed by the Head of Finance from time to time
