Job Description

Due to a recent restructure, they have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for managing and controlling operational finance as well as assisting in the management of customer rebate payments.
This will be a varied role with duties to include: -
*Lead and manage a team of 2 (Factory Accountant and a Cost Accountant)
*Full production of Monthly Management Accounts
*Work as Finance Business Partner for the manufacturing facility, working closely with workshop managers and operations
*Analysis of production output, overheads, inventory, KPIs (actuals against budget)
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Ensure accurate stock coding within accounts
*Work closely with the commercial team to manage customer rebates, including ensuring the accrual amounts are correct and accurate at all times
*Perform sales margin analysis
*Process improvement and development across the department
*Any other ad-hoc projects
*Annual Bonus of up to 10%

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

*Ideally CIMA or ACCA qualified (Qualified by Experience will also be considered for the right candidate) *Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential *Strong business partnering skills *Staff management experience would be highly desirable *Strong analytical skills *Desire and ability to challenge the status quo *Proven capability of identifying and implementing process improvements *A confident IT user with strong Excel skills
