Job Description
The roles will be based in London. In general normal office hours will apply, however, the nature of the role means that a flexible approach to working time will be necessary.
Main Responsibilities
As the Production Management Assistant, you will be responsible for booking location logistics, you will raise purchase orders & contracts for crew and services whilst providing administrative support to the production team in order to ensure the smooth and efficient running of productions.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will help prepare information on production progress for the team and act as a key point of contact for enquiries. You will be responsible for generating production call sheets and expected to complete the full complement of post-production paperwork associated with programme delivery.
- Production admin, including reconciliation of cash floats, credit cards, payment cards.
- Starter forms, IT admin and paperwork for all Crew and Staff.
- Booking transport and car hires for Presenters, Contributors and Crew.
- Updating Crew lists and spreadsheets for Coordinators.
- Compiling shoot packs to go out with all teams.
- Completing BBC Covid Travel Letters for all recces and film shoots.
- Creating purchase orders for vendors and suppliers.
- Arranging Covid tests when required.
- Ad hoc tasks in support of both Production and Editorial teams.
- Creating and distributing crew accreditation
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have experience of working as a Production Management Assistant or working in an administrative role based with a television/media production environment. You will be able to demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills and manage conflicting demands to meet deadlines. You will work well within teams, be a good communicator, hold good attention to detail when working in a fast paced environment, have experience of BBC systems and have a real can do attitude.
