Job Description
You will be responsible for managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients up to £80million in turnover, developing strong relationships with those clients, along with the potential for involvement in advisory projects working with partners.
Your role will also include preparation of financial statements for non-audit clients, preparing accounts and other responsibilities. Given the scope of the role and positive developments within the firm, with ongoing growth, there are excellent prospects for short/medium and longer term career progression for career focused individuals, looking to develop and progress their accountancy practice careers, following qualification, within a regional leading firm of chartered accountants. Highly competitive salary, negotiable on experience and competitive with London salaries.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with a high level of experience of audit and ideally accounts, in an accountancy practice environment. You may be recently qualified or with 1-2 years or more, post qualified experience and be operating at Audit & Accounts Senior Accountant level, Supervisor or Assistant Manager level.
You may have a background in small, medium or large, independent accounting firm environment, or larger Top 50 / Top Tier firm background, looking to join a smaller, successful firm and diversify your experience, adding more value to directors of OMBs and SMEs, working on added value advisory projects and widen your experience, following qualification.
