Job Description

Your new role
As financial accountant you will provide a comprehensive accountant service for the businesses multiple operations. You will ensure correct accounting treatment for transactions and capital projects, and you will also lead the year end accounts production and audit process.

You will be the go-to point of contact for any technical accounting queries and will update the company's accounting policies. Working closely with the FD and Senior managers on financial projects you will ensure strong financial controls and governance are in place.

Other areas of responsibility will include VAT and reporting to external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
You should have strong technical accounting knowledge and experience of financial accounting. You will possibly have recently qualified and be looking for your first move out of practice. Alternatively you could be a qualified accountant who has worked in a financial accountant role and are seeking your next challenge.
