Job Description

To provide administrative support (technical and other) to the PGME office to ensure the smooth running of training and administrative functions.

This role will involve providing administration induction for junior doctors as well as preparing BLS training lists, ID badge list for estates, keeping records of attendance and following up on non-attendance.

You will also be dealing with Clinical Attachment queries and paperwork and ensuring that instructions are provided for completing statutory mandatory training to new cohorts of trainee doctors.

Organizing the CMT/IMT teaching programme. Booking speakers and rooms. Circulating teaching programme to all CMT/IMT trainees and preparation of the medicine faculty meeting agenda and taking minutes. Provide administrative supporting for CMT IMT Tutor.

You will also be responsible for the input of FY/CMT/IMT trainee data on HORUS/Physicians e-portfolio and dealing with related queries


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
What we need from you: Experience of working with clinical staff in the NHS in an administrative capacity. Previous NHS experience or in a similar setting. Event co-ordination i.e. meetings, conferences, etc. NHS Medical Education Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
